Mwaiwathu Private Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of PHARMACY ASSISTANT tenable at the Hospital along Chileka Road in Blantyre.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. At least a Pharmacy Certificate.

EXPERIENCE

At least 1-year relevant experience in a busy organization, computer literacy will have an added advantage.

ATTRIBUTES

• Dispensing Medication to in and out-patients.
• Issue stock to the wards from the Pharmacy with accuracy.
• Ensure FIFO procedures are followed during storage of new stock and in use.
• Receive and check goods quality as well as meeting specifications.
• Prepare Pharmacy stock orders from the bulk store.
• Adhere to Pharmacy SOPs.
• Any other duties assigned.
