Radiology Department has highly qualified and experienced staff and offers the country’s most comprehensive range of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging modalities. The department caters for in, out and walk-in patients and is open 24/ 7.
We offer the following services:
• General X-ray procedures
• Computerized Tomography (CT) of all body parts like the brain, facial bones, neck, vertebrae, abdomen, chest, pelvis, sinuses and extremities (limbs). Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning is a computer-assisted X-ray technique that visualizes parts of the body, giving three-dimensional information that is valuable for interpretations by radiologists.
• Ultrasound scanning: sometimes also referred to as "echo," ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to produce echoes within the body. The strength and timing of the echoes returning to the send point, or transducer, are analyzed by a computer to produce a graphic image of the area of interest such as a liver, gallbladder, veins, arteries, breast, thyroid gland, kidneys, ovaries, and the heart.
• Mammography – a routine radiographic procedure that utilizes special equipment and X-ray film to diagnose breast lesions with a low dose of radiation to the patient. Generally for detection and screening of breast cancer.
• Special radiological procedures:
